2022 Festival events
The 2022 Hot & Steamy Festival was held from Thursday 24 - Sunday 27 February 2022 and the confirmed events and venues were:
- Get L'eid Luau @ Zinc - 24 February
- Taste of the Tropics Long Lunch @ Salsa - 25 February
- White Party @ Sugar Wharf - 25 February
- Main Festival Party @ Central Hotel - 26 February
- Soaked Pool Party @ Oaks Resort - 27 February.

OUR 2022 AMBASSADORS
We were very excited to have Tim and Rod, the winners of Network Ten’s The Amazing Race as our 2022 Ambassadors!!
Tim and Rod became some of the most-loved faces on Aussie television when they won The Amazing Race in 2019. As the first gay married couple on Australian television, they loved inspiring the LGBTIQA+ community and normalising the appearance of queer people in prime time.
Aside from television the pair has launched The Real Househusbands podcast series celebrating their guilty pleasure of reality TV as well as maintaining a social media presence that includes more than 87k followers on Instagram. Follow their antics on Instagram @timandrod

The law firm was only set up in November 2018 but the Partners, Rebecca Badenoch and Jeremy Culshaw have a long-standing commitment to supporting the LGBTIQ community by representing them legally, sponsoring and marching in the Gay Pride March in St Kilda (Vic) over three decades, and sponsoring and presenting at the Feast Festival in Adelaide and various other events. The firm’s experience in pre-nuptial agreements, property settlements and surrogacy law has assisted many in the LGBTIQ community over the years.
One of the founders, Rebecca, also has an affinity with Port Douglas and the region which extends over some 30+ years, and is very keen to be involved in supporting this fabulous event which was wonderful in bringing tourism to the event last year, and will no doubt do so again in 2022. Finally, we support Nathan and Jason in bringing you this simply excellent event – see you in Port Douglas!!!
